A Currently not Collectable status is one where the taxpayer does not have the ability to pay their tax debt in whole or in part. The Internal Revenue Service will declare the taxpayer “Currently not Collectable” after the IRS is provied with and receives the proper documentation that the taxpayer is unable to pay any portion of the tax liability. Once this is done the IRS will cease all collection activities which includes the lifting of bank levy or wage garnishment.
Certified Tax Group will provide you with the representation, the preparation, and the negotiation on your behalf to insure that you are granted the "Currently not Collectable" status by the Internal Revenue Service.
